Arrivés en Italie il y a quelques jours, nous allons de surprises en surprises. Entre une escroquerie au rendu de monnaie au péage de l’autoroute et l’obligation de forcer le passage pour sortir d’un stop et tourner à droite, je savais être arrivé en Italie.
Ce soir la surprise est de taille, elle trouve son origine dans un super-marché nommé Natura, une version italienne de Whole Foods où nous avons fait quelques emplettes pour un dîner dans notre AirBnB. Pour ce dîner, j’ai acheté des Raviolis fourrés à la Ricotta et aux épinards. J’ai ajouté quelques boulettes de bœuf haché et, pour l’apéro, quelques tranches fines de Pepperoni épicés au poivron.
Arrived in Italy a few days ago, we go from surprises to surprises. Between a scam at the toll booth on the change returned, $10, later in a traffic jam, I was put into the obligation to force the way out of a stop sign into the main road, I knew I had arrived in Italy.
Tonight the surprise is big, it finds its origin in a super-market named Natura, an Italian version of Whole Foods where we did some shopping for a dinner in our AirBnB. For this dinner, I bought ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach. I added a few meatballs of ground beef and, for the appetizer, a few thin slices of spicy pepperoni with pepper. Nothing special, just enough to get something in the stomach.
Surprise 1
Dans le panier supérieur du lave-vaisselle, deux bouteilles font la sieste en attendant le départ du cycle. Pas sur qu’en fin de cycle, le résultat soit probant.
Surprise 2
Les Pepperonis sont végans, goût surprenant, je veux dire décevant, ce n’est pas demain que je vais me convertir à ce type de régime.
Surprise 1
In the upper basket of the dishwasher, two bottles take a nap while waiting for the cycle to start. Not that at the end of the cycle, the result is convincing.
Surprise 2
Pepperonis are vegan, surprising taste, I mean disappointing, it is not tomorrow that I will convert to this type of diet.
