Les régimes autoritaires refusent les voix dissonantes. Ils s’imposent par la peur, la corruption, le mensonge mille fois répété. Par ces biais, ils réussirent à obtenir un consentement unanime, unanime, mais factice. Ce consentement n’a qu’un temps, il offre une intéressante similitude avec les barrages de sable. Ceux-ci tiennent jusqu’au moment où une fuite devient une brèche qui elle-même emporte toute la structure. La vidéo ci-dessous offre une évidente métaphore aux événements qui concourent à la disparition d’un régime autoritaire. Les opposants aux régimes autoritaires se rêvent de devenir la brèche, il y a souvent beaucoup d’appelés, mais peu d’élus.

These hold until the moment when a leak becomes a breach, which itself wipes away the entire structure. The video below offers an obvious metaphor for the events that contribute to the crumble of an authoritarian regime. Opponents of authoritarian regimes dream of becoming the breach, there are often many called upon, but few succeed.

Richard Nixon, bien que quasiment certain de gagner l’élection présidentielle de 1972 pour un second mandat, n’a pas pu résister à l’envie d’espionner le parti d’opposition. Poussé par sa paranoïa, il fit placer des micros dans leur quartier général du parti Democrat dans l’immeuble du WaterGate.
Les poseurs de micro se sont fait surprendre et, malgré d’énormes pressions et mensonges, en août 1976, le très nixonien conservateur Barry Goldwater préviendra Nixon qu’une procédure de destitution était inévitable. Le 8 août 1974 Nixon annonçait sa démission.
Sans la brèche de l’arrestation de poseurs de micro, Nixon ne serait probablement pas tombé.

Without the breach of the arrest of microphone installers, Nixon would probably not have fallen.
Le Donald, alias la Citrouille Menteuse, avait réussi, au delà de toute espérance, à maintenir une unanimité, unanimité certes factice, mais unanimité du groupe MAGA. Nomination aux postes de pouvoir de sycophantes incompétents, gouvernement au moyen de décrets scélérats, la Citrouille corrompue se remplissait les poches.
La Citrouille avait toutefois commis une erreur tactique qui deviendra, par la suite, un désastre stratégique. Afin de salir sans aucune preuse ses opposants, il avait promis de rendre public l’ensemble des documents disponibles sur les activités du pédophile suicidé en prison, Jeffrey Epstein. Cette affirmation de transparence à venir lui avait acquis les voix de nombreux électeurs, des femmes en particulier qui acceptaient d’ignorer le reste du programme qui faisait régresser le droit des femmes et des minorités.
Une fois au pouvoir, la Citrouille aura tout mis en œuvre pour mettre sous éteignoir les relations amicales que, pendant une vingtaine d’années, il avait entretenu avec Epstein.
Aujourd’hui, pour la première fois, l’unanimité du groupe MAGA se dissout dans le scandale de la publication du dossier Epstein qui implique la Citrouille dans des relations pédophiles.
Le barrage de sable vient de subir une brèche. Celle-ci se transformera en scandale. Les députés et sénateurs qui se cachaient derrière la Citrouille seront forcés de choisir leur camp. En votant pour la publication des documents, ils vont s’attirer les foudres du Donald, en votant contre cette publication, ils perdront toute crédibilité auprès de leurs électeurs.
Pour le parti Republicain c’est pile, je gagne, face, tu perds.
La fin de la Citrouille est enfin proche.
The Donald, alias the Lying Pumpkin, had succeeded, beyond all hope, in maintaining unanimity, certainly artificial but unanimity of the MAGA group. Appointment to positions of power of incompetent sycophants, government by means of wretched decrees, the corrupt Pumpkin filled his pockets, those of his family and insiders.
However, te Pumpkin had made a tactical error that later became a strategic disaster. In order to muddy without proof his political opponents, he had claimed to make public all the available documents on the activities of the pedophile who committed suicide in prison, his former buddy of twenty years, Jeffrey Epstein. This claim of future transparency had won him the votes of many voters, women in particular who agreed to ignore the rest of the program that was regressing on the rights of women and minorities.
Once in power, the Pumpkin fought tooth and nails to hide the friendly relationship with Epstein. Welcome leaks from the so called « Epstein files » claimed that Trump name was all over the hidden documents.
Today, for the first time, the unanimity of the MAGA group dissolves in the scandal of the publication of the Epstein file which involves the Pumpkin in pedophile relationships.
The sand dam has just been breached. This will turn into a scandal. The Representatives and Senators who hid behind the Pumpkin will be forced to choose their side. By voting for the publication of documents, they will incur the wrath of the Donald, by voting against this publication, they will lose all credibility with their voters.
For the Republicans, it’s tails, I win, heads, you lose.
The end of Pumpkin is finally near.
